Es ist ja kein Geheimnis, dass zahlreiche Sportler sich dopen lassen um bessere Performance liefern zu können. Doch es war schockierend, wie weit sich der Dopingskandal zog. Keine Sportart war sicher und nahezu alle rekordverdächtigen Ergebnisse der letzten Jahre lassen sich auf Doping zurückführen. Wir sind an den Punkt gekommen, wo man den Sportlern wegen ihrer guten Leistungen nicht mehr applaudiert, sondern misstraut.
PS: Ich habe nichts gegen Bill Pullman.

It’s no secret, that many athletes are doping to hone their performance. But it was shocking to learn how far that scandal stretched. No sport was save and almost every record-breaking result of the last years was the outcome of drugs. We came to the point, were we are not applauding the athletes for their good performances but rather mistrust them for it.
